TRIVIA
In the years 1942/43 Joop Geesink has worked briefly with Marten Toonder and they lead a animation studio together. They parted ways and Geesink solely focussed on doll-animation. With this movie, Geesink showed he can also deliver animated films. Director Henk Kabos came from Toonder animations and has made himself very useful as illustrator.

Presumably, this was the only 2D animated movie of Henk Kabos for Joop Geesink's Dollywood. Later he concentrated on the art-direction of puppet-animated movies. Also remarkable was that this particular film was made in the expensive American Technicolorsystem in the post-war years .
