Visiting Bols

This movie is from 1947 for Bols’ gin distillery. The production process is portrayed in a funny way. Joop Geesink shows the production process of different types of gins and liquors in a playful manner.

Set in the decent 40’s style, the movie also shows that the technique of the film is still relatively in its infancy. Both figures as the animations were fairly simple. The fact that public and professional jury thought otherwise, was proven by the international prizes this film has won.
