Crying chief
(1962)
‘Heinz tastes better!’

Bioscoopreclamefilm voor Heinz soep.

Content
Advertising film for canned soup from US brand Heinz in which a cook is made to cry because he has heard that some people do not eat Heinz soup. He is comforted by his colleague who then touts the product.
Trivia
Heinz had a decent range of puppet animations made at Joop Geesink's Dollywood in the 1950s and 1960s. Remarkable is the typical English humour and self-mockery that often appears in these films. In this film, the sidekick complements his chief: ‘Yes, we are biased!’ Typical English self-mockery. In addition to canned condensed soup, Heinz also advertised their tomato ketchup with puppet film.
