Story
To a cheerful tune, Bonera's sweets dance through the picture. The sweets are presented as gifts under the Christmas tree.
Candy canes do a dance and peppermint dragees sway around. All accompanied by cheerful revue music. The slogan reads, "Bonera quality, excels through tastiness."
Trivia
It is beyond any dispute that this commercial is a true vintage animation. There was a lack of clarity as to who the creator of this clip is. The Institute for Sound & Vision has a copy attributed to the studio "Polygoon-Profilti". At the time, this was a competitor of Joop Geesink's because, in addition to their famous Polygoon newsreel, this studio started to focus more and more on corporate films, also offering animation.
No names are known of the people who made the sweets come to life for Polygoon Profilti.

Nothing to eat?
It was in 1944 at the end of World War II when almost no basic foodstuffs were available. A remarkable period to advertise sweets. A personal guess is that during the war years, several manufacturers had advertising films made in advance because it was assumed that the war would soon be over. Furthermore, wartime cinema offered a source of distraction. With the films shown, one could imagine oneself in another, ideal world. Then, apparently, one could also dream of tasty sweets. This may explain the slogan emphasising the 'tastiness' of the sweets.
Due to the age of the production, the picture quality is not optimal. The original was black and white.
