Story
Cinderella is not allowed to go to the ball until she completes numerous tedious tasks. Of course, Cinderella succeeds.
This time, we reveal the ending of this fairy tale. Lonely and sad, Cinderella is left behind. She gets help from a fairy godmother. The fairy gives her a bottle of all-purpose cleaner to wash the dishes and scrub the floor.
Trivia
The wicked stepmother wanted to know how it was possible for Cinderella to come to the ball with so many chores to do. When the wicked stepmother discovers that everything was quickly cleaned and the fairy godmother discovers Lodalientje, she speaks angrily: "Lodalientje, I might have known!" It became a famous saying at the time.
Another fairy godmother?
Unusual: This film has two different final versions.
In the 1950s, the film was a huge success. The exclamation " Lodaline, I should have known", was frequently used in domestic conversations. The product was also sold under the name "Habro" Of this film, the plot and pack shots were shot twice. The differences lie in the moment when the "magic fairy" reveals her true identity. Here a different mascot can be seen and the stepmother now exclaims "Abroline, I should have known." We have extended the video accompanying this article by adding a piece of screen recording from the Habro version at the back. Although the picture and sound quality is poor, the difference is easy to see.
